A Career Developement Blog
Visited pretty Jane May’s blog today when she guest blogged for John Chow. I must say her style of blogging is pretty similar to that of John Chow, maybe that’s the reason John wanted her to guest blog for him while he is away. Anyway, I am not here to review Jane May’s Blog. I am here to review another blog titled Career Ramblings which Jane recommended in her blog.
Normally I only do reviews for a little bit of dough, but since opps were running a bit dry these days, I took time to review this career development site for a simple back-link in return. I hope my review here will benefit my readers here a little bit as this blog also blogs about careers, doing business and making money.
Career Ramblings and this blog share almost the same niche as both of us talks about making a living. Though I tend to talk about going at it more on the street wise way, Career Ramblings presents their ideas in a more logical and educated kind of way. If you compare the 4 part post I wrote on How To Manage A Business without a Masters in Business Administration with this article, Essentials New Business Owners Must Know, then you will find a vast difference in ideas.
Career Ramblings is a well thought out blog. All the articles are written with SEO in mind and many of the articles interlinks previous articles of that blog. Keywords are well spread-ed all over the posts. Using a theme that is almost similar with John Chow, this is a blog looks clean with only 2 Adsense blocks on every page and a Image banner on the top. Sidebar Ads are also minimal with 5 text link Ads. The lack of Ads makes reading this blog really pleasant, though I don’t really mind Ads as I have become totally Ads blind.
Overall, I would say it’s a blog with great potential. I am happy I reviewed this site. The articles there gave me lots of different insights from the angle that I am writing from. In fact I am so happy with this site that I am adding it to my blog roll so that I can go back for references and ideas in the future.
