		<description>My electric bill had gone up considerably and the electrician said it was due to a faulty ballast which was buzzing.

Sorry for the late reply. 

I don&#039;t quite get your question. 
If you have replace everything exactly the way you dismantled them, there should not be any problem. 

If after replacing everything and you see the light tube flickering like a disco light, the biggest culprit could be the starter that you did not replace. Another reason might be a loose connection when you terminated the terminals. Happens often if those terminal are the slot in type without any screws for you to tighten. 

However, if everything fails, instead of getting frustrated over the problem, have you considered buying a completely new set and replacing the whole thing? Saves you lots of trouble.</description>

Just want to know whether the cause of power trip after I switch on the lights of my daughters room after a few hours is due to faulty ballast.  I know its the light from the room that caused the trip,  as after the power trip i isolated the problem to the light switch.

The switch controls four separate PLC light bulbs casing. It is a hassle to open up the casing to get access (8 allen key screws) per casing so I  just want to be sure before I do the 3 steps you describe.
