There comes a time when you know you have lost a battle and you ought to call it quits. Calling it quits in time saves you lots of unneccasary headaches and heartaches. When it’s time to give up, we have to give up. There is no point hanging on to something that has no more future hope. We let go of what we know is no more and we start all over again.
There is never and there will never be a surefire way for success. Nobody can guarantee your success in whatever venture you set out to do. Failing is no big deal. We pick up the pieces and look ahead taking the failure as another lesson in life. The most important thing is we must keep going and not let one simple failure dampen everything.
Of course it’s easier said than done. Nobody said it’s going to e easy. I remembered writing not long agao that in whatever we do, close all our backdoors and ecsape exits so we have no other choices but to forge ahead with full committment. This method brings out the innermost fighting spirit in ourselves, but what happens when after committing everything, you find yourself the road’s end. What happens when you made one wrong exit and you ended up in a dead end road that leads straight down to a bottomless cliff? Then you should realise that your journey has been in vain. You can either jump over and end it all or you can track back to the wrong exit that brought you there. If you manage to track back, you have a chance to find the right route. If you jumped, then all will be in vain forever.
Once you have reached the junction of that one wrong exit, you will have to grope around in the dark for the right one. You might make another wrong turn, but never jump over the cliff when you reached the dead end. Backtrack again. There are only so many wrong turns that you can take because you now know the other bad exits. After taking all the wrong turns, there will be a final one that will lead you out. If you haven’t jumped over that cliff by that time, that is.
